Australian Subsidiary Established in Melbourne

Berlin, Germany and Melbourne, Australia (September 26, 2007) - mental images®, a global leader in the fast-growing market for high-end 3D visualization software, and Luminova™, the specialized British-Australian system integrator for 3D custom visualizations, today announced that the Luminova software development unit has moved to mental images who also acquired select software tools from Luminova. The two companies will continue to work together closely as Luminova focuses on its core visualization production business for industrial clients worldwide.

Now established as the mental images RealityServer Application Engineering and Support Group, the team will be directed by Paul Arden, co-founder and previously CTO of Luminova. It will be based in Melbourne, Australia, where mental images Pty Ltd is being established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of mental images GmbH.
