Job Profile
This is a customer consultant position responsible
for engaging end customers and system integrators in various industries
for mental imagesas 3D collaboration software products. Task include
to:
| |
Define and manage innovative (pilot) projects aimed at novel 3D
software deployments at large customers (especially in the automotive,
industrial engineering and aerospace industries); |
| |
Define and manage innovative (pilot) projects aimed at novel 3D
software deployments at large customers (especially in the automotive,
industrial engineering and aerospace industries); |
| |
Work with system integrators and other outside partners and Beta users
in the definition, creation and implementation of next-generation, 3D
graphicsintensive applications; |
| |
Collaborate closely with in-house software engineering, development,
documentation and support in the context of pre-release software
projects. |
Required Skills and other Prerequisites
Software Technology and Development:
| |
Proven success in engaging customers and managing complex enterprise
software integration and deployment projects (at least partly in the
area of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and/or Digital Content Creation
(DCC)); |
| |
Thorough understanding of software project management processes; |
| |
Experience with corporate software integration technologies, Web serving and
Web service platforms; |
| |
Thorough understanding of current CAD and DCC software products; |
| |
Understanding of computer hardware and operating systems as well as networking
architectures; |
| |
Familiarity with C and/or C++ an asset; |
| |
Experience in closely collaborating with software developers an asset.

Work Experience and Education:
| |
At least 5 years of experience in identifying and managing complex enterprise
software integration and deployment projects in the area of Computer-Aided
Design or Digital Content Creation, preferably with large end users or system
integrators;
|
| |
At least 2 years of the experience should be related to work with external customers;
|
| |
Four-year degree in (applied) Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or
related field.
|
General:
| |
Fluent written and spoken German and English; in addition, written and spoken
French would be an asset;
|
| |
Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance between
hands-on work and delegation;
|
| |
Strong project management skills;
|
| |
Capable of self-disciplined use of work time;
|
| |
Capable of working in a small team.
