I. Experienced Quality Assurance Professional
Job Profile
This is an intermediate level QA position responsible for performing
and developing quality assurance tests for mental images's software
products. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

monitoring of daily automated QA test results and production of
detailed reports on any problems discovered
|
| |
performing interactive tests on products where automated tests do
not exist
|
| |
enhancing and updating automated and manual test procedures
|
| |
reviewing and validating end user documentation and tutorials
|
| |
reviewing technical requirements and specification documentation
and generating test plans
|
| |
implementing test plans through the creation of test suites and test data
|
| |
maintaining and extending automated test harnesses
|
Required Skills and other Prerequisites
Technical Skills
| |
Python or perl, JavaScript scripting essential; Java or C/C++ an asset.
|
| |
In depth knowledge of Linux (or similar) and Windows operating systems
|
| |
Detailed understanding of QA and software development processes
|
| |
Thorough understanding of client-server software architectures
|
| |
Database/Web programming an advantage
|
| |
Knowledge of and experience with 3D graphics software an advantage
|
Work Experience and Education:
| |
Four year degree in (applied) Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
|
| |
At least 3 years experience in software quality assurance
|
| |
Experience in professional software development an advantage

II. Entry Level Quality Assurance Professional
Job Profile
This is an entry level QA position responsible for performing quality
