In the area of Digital Content Creation (DCC) for Entertainment, mental images users include most of the leading special effects and digital film studios including Berliner Film Companie (BFC), BUF Compagnie, Digital Domain, Disney, DreamWorks, Industrial Light & Magic, and SONY Pictures Imageworks. Finally, game developers such as Electronic Arts, Kalisto, Nintendo, Sega and Sony Computer Entertainment also use mental images products.

Most users license mental images products through such original software developers as Autodesk, Inc., Avid/Softimage, Inc., SolidWorks, and Dassault Systèmes S.A.
