Required Skills and other Prerequisites
Software Technology and Development:
| The successful candidate will be responsible for further enhance and maintain the online customer support system, including a new portal and knowledgebase | |
| Receive, assess and process/channel technical inquiries from professional software developers at customers, potential customers and business partners | |
| Work closely with internal application engineers and software developers to ensure the timely resolution of issues or questions raised by customers and business partners | |
| Define, implement, and document common procedures to increasingly automate tasks and build up the company knowledgebase | |
| Support the technical requirements management process and Support the product documentation process based on feedback gathered in customers support. | |
| Experience in building up and running software developer support for a complex software product (preferably in the area of 3D graphics) | |
| Experience with Web-based customer support systems | |
| Good knowledge of Windows and Unix-based operating systems as well as TCP/IP networking |
Work Experience and Education:
| Experience in a global customer-oriented software support operation is highly desirable | |
| A college degree in (applied) computer science or equivalent experience | |
| Experience in computer graphics preferred |
General:
| Fluent written and spoken German and English | |
| Good multi-tasking skills and ability to respond quickly to varying requests | |
| Effective and friendly approach to serving engineers and customers, often under time pressure | |
| Capable of self-disciplined use of work time; | |
| Capable of working in a small team. |
