Required Skills and other Prerequisites

Software Technology and Development:

  The successful candidate will be responsible for further enhance and maintain the online customer support system, including a new portal and knowledgebase
  Receive, assess and process/channel technical inquiries from professional software developers at customers, potential customers and business partners
  Work closely with internal application engineers and software developers to ensure the timely resolution of issues or questions raised by customers and business partners
  Define, implement, and document common procedures to increasingly automate tasks and build up the company knowledgebase
  Support the technical requirements management process and Support the product documentation process based on feedback gathered in customers support.
  Experience in building up and running software developer support for a complex software product (preferably in the area of 3D graphics)
  Experience with Web-based customer support systems
       Good knowledge of Windows and Unix-based operating systems as well as TCP/IP networking

Work Experience and Education:

  Experience in a global customer-oriented software support operation is highly desirable
  A college degree in (applied) computer science or equivalent experience
       Experience in computer graphics preferred

General:

  Fluent written and spoken German and English
  Good multi-tasking skills and ability to respond quickly to varying requests
  Effective and friendly approach to serving engineers and customers, often under time pressure
  Capable of self-disciplined use of work time;
       Capable of working in a small team.
