Rolf Herken
President, CEO and CTO
Mr. Herken is the founder of mental images and the driving force behind its innovative technologies and products as well as its successful establishment as the global leader in core component technology for 3D modeling, collaboration and visualization.
Trained as a Theoretical Physicist with a strong interest in Computer Science he established the company in 1986. Since then he has been serving as the company's CEO and CTO with primary responsibility for Research, Development, Technology Strategy, and the company's OEM business.
Ludwig von Reiche
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. von Reiche joined mental images in 2002 with 20 years of international management experience in the U.S. and Europe, including 13 years at IBM and two years as CEO of a software development and system integration group, where he also led and concluded several M&A projects. As COO of mental images, his responsibilities include marketing and sales to new customers and business partners.
Gary Yost
Executive Vice President, mental images, Inc.
Gary Yost serves as Executive Vice President of mental images’s U.S. subsidiary, mental images, Inc., in San Francisco. He joined the company in 2004.
Mr. Yost has been leading programming teams producing 3D graphics tools since 1985. He was responsible for the first open-architecture 3D animation, clip-art and modeling systems before leading the development of the first Windows-based professional 3D content creation system which quickly became the most widely-used 3D production system in the world (Autodesk 3D Studio MAX). Mr. Yost has broad experience in the creation of engineering teams, analyzing customer requirements, and managing the specification and development of computer graphics software.
Randy D. Ochs
Vice President, Business Development and Sales, North America
Mr. Ochs joined mental images in 2008 and brings 25 years of international management experience in MCAD, visual product lifecycle, communications and collaboration software solutions. Randy serves as Vice President, Business Development and Sales for North America and is responsible for leading the company’s North America Business Development, Sales and Solution Consulting team in their efforts to acquire new customers and business partners.
Randy has held executive management positions at some of the foremost producers of 3D CAD, Digital Design Communication Solutions and PCM/PLM software suites serving global 500 customers. Prior to mental images, Randy served as Vice President, Strategic Alliances & Channels at Right Hemisphere and was CEO & President of Actify, Inc. Earlier in his career, he has held executive and senior management positions at leading companies such as Agile Software, PTC/InPart Design, Autodesk and IBM/CADAM.
