Fair use of mental images' trademarks in press reviews or technical publications to refer to mental images' products is permitted and requires proper acknowledgment of mental images' ownership thereof. Any other use of mental images' trademarks requires prior written permission from mental images.

Any trademarks of any other companies that may be referred to on this Site are properties of their respective owners.

Legal Information

General Notes
The mental images trademarks are used to distinguish products or other nouns, as with all other trademarks, and are to be used as adjectives.

If a trademark is shown in the above listings, all written references to that mark must include the mark as shown (e.g., mental ray rendering software). Similarly, trademarks should not be shortened or abbreviated: mental matter should not be referred to as "matter''; mental mill should not be referred to as "mill".

A ® or ™ designation -- positioned immediately after the mark and superscripted -- need only be used upon the first time a mark is used in a document. However, in newsletters, manuals, or publications, etc., consisting of several articles or chapters, the ™ or® should be designated with the first use in EACH article of a chapter. At the end of the entire publication, include ONE trademark paragraph incorporating a list of all applicable trademarks used throughout the publication, for example:

Single Copy License
The materials at this Site are copyrighted and any unauthorized use of any materials at this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may download of the information or software ("Materials'') found on mental images sites for your personal or for your organization's internal use only unless specifically licensed to do otherwise by mental images in writing or as allowed by any license terms which accompany or are provided with individual Materials. Materials are copyrighted and are protected by worldwide copyright laws and treaty provisions. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without mental images' prior written permission. Except as expressly provided herein, mental images and its suppliers do not grant any express or implied right to you under any patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secret information. Other rights may be granted to you by mental images in writing or incorporated elsewhere in the Materials.

Applicable Laws
This site is controlled from mental images from its offices in Germany. mental images makes no representation that access to the Site or materials in the Site are permitted, appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access from territories where such is illegal or otherwise restricted is prohibited. Anyone who choose to access this Site does so on his or her own initiative and at his or her own risk and is responsible for compliance with applicable local laws and regulations. Privacy Notice

In general, you can visit mental images’ website without telling us who you are and without giving any personal information about yourself.

There are times, however, when we or our partners may need information from you.

You may choose to give us personal information in a variety of situations. For example, you may want to give us information, such as your name and address or e-mail ID, to correspond with you, to process an information request, an order, or to provide you with a subscription. You may give us a description of your education and work experience in connection with a job opening at mental images that you wish to be considered for.
