mental images offers Training and Consulting Services based in Los Angeles, California. Our current set of training classes are taught in the Los Angeles area, however, we also offer on-site training and consulting.
Although support for use of mental ray is typically provided through our OEM partners, our training classes offer an experience to learn more about what is 'under the hood'. We teach shader writing using a cross-platform and application independent approach to shader development with standalone mental ray. This experience may then be leveraged in the application of your choice.

Motivation
We aim to increase the experience and knowledge of those who use mental ray, nurturing both experienced and new computer graphics industry professionals by presenting the basic framework and fundamentals of the software in an intuitive and visually driven way.
The classes address the need to cover the great depth and flexibility of mental ray in an interactive learning situation providing hands-on experience.
The consulting service enables project-specific exploration of mental ray usage, enabling narrower focus on a particular customers' needs.
